This clinic is fantastic. I would recommend it to anyone I know with pets. They are caring and treat every pet like their own and truly care for the animals they see. We are so thankful to Dr. Kumar and the Staff of Marketplace Animal Hospital who took wonderful care of Rush – both medically and compassionately. Our 8 year old Siberian Huskey was not eating and throwing up. We had been with another nearby vet who showed no compassion and fortunately we took Rush home and did some online research and found Marketplace Animal Hospital. They took Rush in immediately and did appropriate test and x-ray and then an ultra sound which revealed a foreign object in his small intestines. Dr. Kumar accurately predicted it was likely something he swallowed and not a tumor. He did surgery that day and removed a peach pit. Rush recovered extremely well. The staff provided regular phone calls to give us updates and welcomed us into the office each time we came to visit. It is very obviously that they all care for your patients and their owners, which is something we did not experience with our previous vet. We will not hesitate for a moment to recommend Marketplace Animal Hospital to all of our family and friends. -Caroline
Absolutely the best veterinary hospital in Edmonton. Dr. Kumar and his support staff are an amazing group of people. Kumar is very good at what he does, and tells you how it is without a sugar coat. He has saved the lives of two of my animals and he acts fast. He knows when an animal is in distress and will stop what he's doing in an emergency. Thank you Dr. Kumar -Maj
My little mixed-breed dog Ramsey came from a shelter three years ago and did not like vets or the vet clinic. Now after several visits to Doctor Kumar for routine procedures he loves going there. Thanks to Dr. Kumar and assistants! Tender loving care has made a huge difference. -Heather
